MARCH 2019

All of the accommodation has now been painted several times using the approved paint specifically developed for boarding kennels.

Due to the nature of the paint and it being resin based we have to close 2 weeks per year, one week to apply the paint and the other week to allow it to dry and the fumes to clear.

The closure for 2019 went well and the kennels look pristine and ready for another very busy year.

The planned closure for 2020 will be from Friday 28th February 2020 and re open on Monday 16th March 2020.

This closure program will continue to be done yearly and it has made a positive change to the environment for dogs, owners and staff alike.

The new grooming/reception area is now fully functional and the new signage is in place.

The central heating has made a huge difference to the kennels and we now also have climate control air conditioning which was very useful during the heatwave last summer.

Business has increased at a fast pace with many periods being fully booked, please book early to avoid disappointment.

We have also had solar panels fitted last summer to help improve our green credentials and help keep costs low.

Just one last bit of good news for the kennels is that my show dog Cilla is pregnant and the pups are due towards the end of March. She has also been awarded a great accolade of Top Havanese in the UK for the second year.

Lastly we would like to thank all our customers for allowing us to look after your precious pets and making the business so successful.
